George S. May International Company

As a result of the rapid growth of our company we found ourselves inundated with work to do but had no systems in place for the volume of work confronting us. We were literally always putting out fires, so to speak, not having the time for prioritizing and effectively managing workloads. By the term “work I am referring to all aspects of the company staff related issues, paperwork, accounting etc. A staff member had recently left, leaving us with major problems with our books and accounts receivable/payable. We had no training systems or indoctrination of new staff procedures in place. There was clearly no line of command and confusion was the order of the day.

Staff from George S. May held meetings with my partner/son, and myself They addressed all areas of our business and were able to provide leadership and direction in ways we could clearly see and understand. Their focus on aspects of cost savings/expenditures enabled us to get a clearer picture of our current and future financial situation. With their guidance and assistance we should be able to manage our company in a much more efficient manner. The George S. May staff approached their tasks in a professional, efficient manner. They listened to what was said and began an action plan immediately. With their continued guidance and assistance we should be able to manage our company in a much less stressful manner, In addition, I think the inception of orientation and training for new staff, clear and concise rules regarding use of staff vehicles, monetary incentives for foremen, and clearly defined roles for ourselves will result in a more productive, efficient, less stressful workplace. We are looking forward to having return in three months to see the progress that we have made.
